Allende is one of the most prominent Latin American writers of the contemporary literature, and is the most widely read Chilean writer in spanish language in the second half of the twentieth century. Her novels have been translated into albanian language and have been welcomed by the albanian readers, since her first novel known as Allende’s masterpiece, The house of spirits, to the latest novel.
