Abstract

The use of visual materials in education is a traditional way of teaching. Images are one of the many kinds of teaching methods used by teachers in order to enrich the teaching of their lessons and to revitalise the way they teach. The utilisation of illustrative material when teaching depends on many factors. One of these is the instruction and training of the teachers. This study aims to investigate the influence of the teachers’ profile on the use of images in the teaching of lessons.Keywords: image, illustration, image and education
